Ok, so I lied! Community Server 2 actually allows you to specify the date on which a post was posted, so I've managed to recreate all the posts I lost and retrospectively post them to the dates on which they were originally posted. Way cool.
So now I've got all my posts back, though some of the links in them are broken. I'll get round to fixing them at some point.

I've been an on/off user of Community Server for some time and used Community Server 1.1 to host my blog. Unfortunately I'm a sporadic blogger and haven't posted for a while. I made a conscious decision the other day that I really need to try blogging on a more regular basis and I decided to upgrade my Community Server installation to version 2. And that's when the disaster occurred - I lost all my old posts! Well, not exactly lost, I had them backed up in an XML file so I'll upload them all here again now I have a new Community Server instance up and running. The won't all appear to be posted when they were previously, but what the hell, the content will be there.
So watch out world - I'm back blogging again!
