We are pleased to announce that Powerdown Standard Edition 1.2 has been released and is now available for purchase through our web store. This maintenance release supports operation on Windows XP Service Pack 3 and contains a number of bug fixes and reliability improvements including
- Added file associations for policy files
- Improved reliability of Policy Editor
- Reduced number of save file prompts in Policy Editor
- Fixed bug in saving default policy settings when saving a new policy file in the Policy Editor
- Fixed bug which prevented scheduled shutdowns from occuring when policy file does not contain any restart events
- Improved validation of policy files
All existing Powerdown 1.1 customers can upgrade to version 1.2 free of charge.
